JIM CARROLL

President

Jim joined the Halbar-RTS team in 1997, originally to provide sales and technical support to our valued customers in Northern Washington, Boise, and Western Canada markets. In 2021, Jim assumed the role of President of Halbar-RTS and shifted to supporting customers in the “Eastside” corridor of W. Washington. Prior to his days as a rep, Jim was completing his Electrical Engineering degree at Oregon State University.

Jim is a past President of ERA Cascade Chapter, and past member of the Northcon board. He has obtained his three-year Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative degree and completed the ERA Chapter Officer Leadership Training course. Jim and his family reside in Duvall, WA, where he enjoys golf, mountain biking, hiking, trips back to AK, and spending time with his family.

BLAIR TUCK

Vice President

Blair has been with Halbar since 2001, and has won several industry awards in his time including Sales Representative of the Year. Blair has worked as an Account Manager for a large Seattle area aerospace manufacturer focused in the Commercial Aircraft industry.

Blair attended Western Washington University and completed his degree in International Business. Adding to his International skills, Blair is near fluent in Japanese, a handy skill in today’s business environment. Blair covers accounts from downtown Seattle south through the Rainier valley, the Spokane/Northern Idaho territory, and western Montana. Blair and his family live Snohomish, WA. He enjoys soccer, snowboarding, golf, and his two children Emma and Evan.

WILLIAM BANKS

Account Executive

William joined the Halbar-RTS team in September 2022 to help provide sales & technical support for customers and distribution partners in our Northern Washington & Western Canada markets.

Prior to joining Halbar-RTS, William has held a variety of sales roles in his career having previously worked directly both for an OEM manufacture as well as a Manufacturers Representative in the Industrial markets. These positions took him all over the Pacific NW and into Western Canada supporting OEMs, MRO, CM’s, Distributors, etc. During this time earned multiple awards through his dedication on focusing on partner solutions and relationships.

William attended Washington State University completing his degrees in Business Management & Communications while minoring in IT management.

He lives in Snohomish, WA with his wife and two kids. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, spending time outdoors and coaching his kid’s sports teams.

Kevin joined Halbar-RTS in July 2021 to provide support to our customers & distributors in the Western Oregon and Tri-Cities/Yakima markets. Kevin brings over 20 years of experience in the electronics & industrial industries to the Halbar-RTS team. Kevin comes to Halbar via distribution where he was a Field Sales Representative covering all of Oregon and SW Washington. Prior to that he worked as a Program Manager with a local CM and was also a New Product Planner for a local OEM.

Kevin is married and has one daughter and a stepson with his wife Michelle. Michelle also works in the electronics industry and is no stranger to working with sales reps! Kevin volunteers with his daughter’s Little League where he coaches and serves on the board. Kevin loves to golf, when asked what his handicap is, his reply was “my swing!

CODY STRICKLAND

Account Executive

Cody joined Halbar-RTS in 2018 to provide sales & technical support to our valued customers in Oregon, SW Washington, and Southern Idaho. Cody came to Halbar via Electrical Distribution where he was a Business Development Sales Engineer. Before that he was with Franklin Controls (old name Cerus) as a Key Account Mgr, which is an important current customer of Halbar. Cody received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University which means Halbar is overrun with OSU Beavers!

Cody is married and has one son with his wife, Megan. Megan is an elementary school teacher which means she is used to dealing with the mentality and maturity level of sales reps! Cody is an avid snow skier (think Mt Hood, Mt Bachelor in Bend, Or), claims to be a decent golfer(!) and is big on outdoor activities such as fishing.
